Lane-splitting Safty

When you think it may be time to lane-split take a quick look in your mirror. Because there are so few of us riders on the roads we can sometimes forget, ourselves, that there are other riders out there. You don.t want to be involved in a collision if you pull into the area between cars when someone behind you already had the idea and is passing you, so always check your 6 o.clock before going for it. Likewise, if you come-up behind a motorcycle in traffic make sure they see you before you attempt to pass.

And for God.s sake, don.t ride along in their blind spot!
